Slow cooker Corn Beef and Cabbage (with mustard sauce)

Ingredients

Corn Beef and Cabbage

  • 2-to-3- pound corn beef brisket with seasoning packet
  • 3 Carrots
  • large onion
  • 3 large potatoes
  • medium head of cabbage

Mustard Sauce

  • 4 eggs beaten
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • cup mustard
  • cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Margerine

Instructions

Corn beef and cabbage

  1. Dice potatoes, carrots, and onion into small pieces. Add to bottom of slow cooker.
  2. Cook on low for 7 hours. Chop cabbage. Add to slow cooker and cook for an addition hour until cabbage and all vegetables are tender. Brisket is done when internal temperature reaches 190 Fahrenheit.

Mustard Sauce

  1. Melt butter in sauce pan over medium- high heat.
  2. Add all other ingredients in pan. Whisk for about 5 minutes until sauce thickens and begins to
