The great thing about it, is it very inexpensive and you will only need a few simple ingredients and about 15 minutes of time. This is great if you need to throw together a last-minute appetizer for a party.

Buy Now →Cheddar Cheese– Extra sharp cheddar cheese is best, but you can use milk or sharp cheddar cheese.
Cream Cheese– Most traditional pimento cheese recipes do not call for cream cheese, but I think it adds flavor.
Mayonnaise– One of the main ingredients for is mayonnaise, you will want to use a good brand such as Ducks.
Pimentos-The main ingredient is, of course, pimentos. Pimentos can usually be found in the grocery store on the same isle with pickles. You will need a 4 oz jar of diced pimentos. Pimentos will need to be drained.
Garlic powder and onion powder– are used to add flavor. Everything always tastes better with garlic and onion powder.
Salt and Pepper
Optional: Cayenne Pepper, diced jalapenos- If you would like to add a hint of spice to your pimento cheese you can add ½ teaspoon of cayenne pepper or a diced jalapeno.
This is a very simple recipe, just add all the ingredients to a mixing bowl and mix using an electric mixer.
Store pimento cheese is an airtight container. It will keep in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
