Be Creative with Banana Split Cake

This banana split cake recipe is the standard one that everybody worldwide has been using for years, but you are not restricted to following this strictly. You can add or remove the flavourful ingredients that suit your taste and cravings. If you want to make it thicker or flavourful, you can add a cheese or chocolate pudding layer. You can also add nuts to your chocolate pudding.

Another way is to slice up some maraschino cherries in your creamy cheese layer. But if you want some crunchy flavour, you melt snickers or any other chocolate and add that into the chocolate layer to make it more delicious. You can also use cashews on the top, which looks super delicious!

Storage Technique

You can put your luscious banana Split with pudding and cream cheese into the refrigerator. You can cover the dish with plastic wrap or aluminium foil and store it when not in use. It will keep the bananas fresh and prevent them from turning brown, which is the essence of a delightful banana split cake.

If you want to eat it after a more extended period, you can freeze it. Sometimes frozen cake tastes even better or crunchy. However, if you decide to freeze, it’s better to do it without maraschino cherry toppings; they will release water when frozen.

How Long You Can Use the Cake

We all know that bananas start getting brown or mushy after 2-3 days. So, you can use it for two days. It can, however, be kept in the fridge for up to three days. But if you are not going to eat it right away, consider freezing it.
