Meatball subs are an easy classic everyone will love. Homemade or frozen meatballs simmered in traditional past sauce, served on a hoagie roll topped with cheese makes for a delicious dinner.

Are you looking for a quick and easy dinner idea? Maybe a lunch idea? Easy Meatball subs are so quick and easy to make. For a very quick and easy meal use frozen meatballs, they will only need to be heated or if you’re feeling creative, make your very own batch of homemade meatballs.

How to make Easy Meatball subs

  1. Heat sauce in a sauce pan over medium heat. Add meatballs. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes (25 minutes if meatballs are frozen) stirring occasionally.
  2. Place 3-4 meatballs on hoagie rolls. Top with sauce and cheese.
  3. Broil 2-4 minutes until cheese is melted.
