These chicken thighs are marinated in a sweet Honey Soy sauce, then transfer to a baking dish and baked in the oven. They come out so juicy and tender and full of flavor. Serve chicken and juices with rice, noodles, or mashed potatoes for the perfect dinner.

Should I use boneless or bone-in chicken thighs?

You can use either boneless chicken thighs or bone in. However, when using chicken thighs with bones, you cook time may be longer. I recommend using a meat thermometer to check the temperature of the chicken before removing from the oven. Pat the chicken dry and season with salt and pepper.

Making the marinate sauce.

Using a large mixing bowl or gallon size freezer bag combine all the ingredients below together.

Add chicken thighs to the marinate sauce and refrigerate.

Chicken thighs are best marinated for one hour prior to cooking but can be marinate for up to 24 hours or as little as 5 minutes. If you don’t have time to marinate chicken thighs you can still, make this recipe. Just add chicken thighs to the baking dish, make the marinate sauce and pour over the chicken thighs.
