Peeps Easter Cake

This easy Easter Peeps Bunny is an excellent addition to your dessert table. Kids and even adults will find it so cute. Yellow cake mix, cream cheese icing, M&M’s, and peeps. Your guest will love this cute bunny cake this Easter and your kids will have so much fun helping you make it.

  • 1 box (15.25 ounce Pilsbury yellow cake mix)
  • 1 Pilsbury (16 ounce cream cheese frosting or You can use my homemade cream cheese frosting)
  • 4 bunny peeps 0.3oz pack (assorted colors)
  • Easter M&M’s
  • Eggs (vegetable oil, water for cake mix)
  • Food coloring (for icing)


  1. Preheat oven to 350. Mix the cake according to the directions on the box.
  2. Once cake is mixing transfer to 2 9-inch cake pans. (Half in each pan)
  3. Bake cake in preheated oven as directed on the box. Usually 35 minutes. Until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
  4. Remove cake from oven. Let the cake cool completely before icing. While cake is cooling add frosting into a mixing bowl. Add 2-3 drops of green food coloring.
  5. Once cake has completely cooled transfer the first cake to a cake plate. Spreading icing on top of the cake and on the side. Transfer second cake on top. Spread frosting on top and on the sides.
  6. Once cake is completely frosted start arranging peeps on the sides. If peeps are not sticking. Add some frosting to the back of them and press them firmly onto side of the cake.
  7. Top cake with Easter M&M’s.
